About Davide Santonocito

After many years on the IT industry, my passion for coding burns brighter than ever: that lead me to put everything on the line and start my new career path in this field.

My IT journey started very early, when I first got my PC when I was 8 years old. Since I loved to tinker with its settings and look deep into its compiled files, I discovered that this was the path in life I would take. After my Information Technology graduation I took many related jobs, including my last one from which I've gained a lot.

As the Data Analyst and Vice System Administrator for over 10 years of a Freight Forwarding company that employed around 30 people, I managed many types of tasks and got many responsibilities. However, I felt that my professional growth was slowly toning down more and more each day.

Meanwhile, my wife started to learn coding from zero and she was extremely passionate about it, so as it became an everyday topic of discussion and study we came to a point to fondly share this passion.

I couldn't imagine how much discovering again coding would have boosted my desire to change and evolve, I was enthrilled by the awesome potential and creativity of this world. So I've made up my mind: I've decided to quit my last job and start learning full time the latest stacks and technologies used in Web Development.
